Silence and Centering (PAUSE FOR A MOMENT OF SILENCE)
“Be still, and know that I am God!- Psalm 46:10
SCRIPTURE – PROVERBS 3:5-7
Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom.
Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
Hebrews 11:1, 6 (NKJV)
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen…But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
QUESTION: According to Hebrews 11:1 and 6, what can we learn about faith?
PERSONAL REFLECTION: Are you willing to continue to walk in faith when a door has been shut in your life?
APPLICATION: Seek the Lord for His guidance of your life today. Trust in Him completely and watch how many doors of opportunity open.
MAKE THIS YOUR PRAYER: Father, thank You for loving me enough to continue to change me to be more like You. Help me to see what You desire for me to see today. Help me to continue to walk in faith as I place my trust in You alone. In Jesus’ precious name, amen…
If today’s devotion spoke to you in a particular way and you feel led to share your thoughts with others, please do so.
