What Is Margin, Exactly?
Margin is the space that we allow ourselves between tasks. It allows us to finish what we were doing and start up the next task. It allows us to avoid overwork and overcommitment by limiting what we can do.
God and Our Bodies
Genesis 1:26-27 NLT
26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings[a] in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth,[b] and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
27 So God created human beings[c] in his own image.
In the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
Three Areas to Consider When Trying to Be Healthy
1. Spiritual Health
Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
3 Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
2. Physical Health
1 Corinthians 6:19 (NLT)
19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,
3. Mental Health
2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
